We offer handcrafted ligatures for clarinet and saxophone. Each of our ligatures has been meticulously prepared, to ensure a high-quality finish and exceptional sound. Our ligatures are environmentally friendly and proudly made in Spain.
Our ligatures offer exceptional freedom of vibration for the reed, making them suitable for musicians of all levels. They are crafted exclusively from natural raffia fiber cord (Raphia farinifera) and a water-based glue. This adhesive was chosen for its low toxicity and lack of volatile organic solvents.*
(*) It complies with UNE-EN 71-3 and 71-5 standards, which guarantee that the glue in its liquid form does not release heavy metals or harmful chemicals beyond the established limits, even during prolonged skin contact or occasional oral contact.

Our ligatures fit directly over the reed and mouthpiece and are compatible with all Vandoren mouthpieces for French-system clarinet and saxophone.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are using a mouthpiece from another brand or manufacturer, please contact us before placing your order, as external dimensions of the mouthpiece may vary and, in some cases, the ligature may not fit optimally.
When fitting our ligatures, we recommend first securing the reed against the mouthpiece table by applying gentle pressure with your thumb on the lower end of the reed.
Next, place the ligature with your other hand, positioning the cord knot on the opposite side of the reed, as shown in the image below. Push the ligature slightly to ensure the reed is firmly held (it will be centered in front of the mouthpiece window thanks to the ligature's inner shape). Once in place, you can adjust the reed's position and lateral alignment if necessary.
To remove the ligature, hold the reed again with your thumb at the bottom while using your other hand to take off the ligature.
